The sensor is a great replacement for potentiometers or transducers (LVDT) that need to be used in harsh environments, or for light-weighting such as in EV’s or Aerospace applications. The magnet is free to move around in 3-axis allowing for incredible versatility. There are a number of designs available with varying lengths, data outputs including both analog and CAN, as well as sample rates up to 1,000Hz.
